A youth drowned in Udaisagar on Thursday evening. He was on an outing with family. Dishant Suthar, resident of Debari, went to Udaisagr with family. He took a plunge around 4 p.m. and drowned. One of the women in the family threw her saree towards him to save him from drowning, but Dishant could not be saved. Around 5:15 p.m. police control room was informed. The search operation took almost 2 hours and then the body was recovered. The youth’s body was found entangled among the thorny vegetation deep down in the lake.
