Cow-catchers are meant to keep cattle away from entering the premises. But these cow-catchers sometimes become troublesome for people.

A youth faced enough trouble for an hour when his leg got stuck in the cow-catcher outside MB College ground. The youth was there to watch the National Basketball Championships. When people saw him struggling to release his leg from the cow-catcher, they tried to help him but in vain as there were no resources around to help the youth. Fire-brigade and police control room were informed. Police and fire-men brought a vehicle jack and big crow bars with them and made space between the 2 rods of cow-catcher where the leg of the youth was stuck. The youth could finally be released after an hour of struggle which left him in pain.
