Hundreds of applicants were lined up to get the job application forms for the post of Home Guard at district head quarters of home guard at Shiksha Bhawan chouraha.

Chogalal Joshi, Home Guard official said that, “We have to distribute 500 forms for 40 vacancies and if the requirement increases, the higher authority will decide for further action.”

Since early morning, youth in large numbers from all over the district reached home guard headquarter. According to unofficial sources, the basic monthly salary of home guards is between 8-10 K rupees for temporary post, if promoted to permanent, the salary might rise to Rs. 10-15K.
