November 05, 2026: British motorcycle manufacturer BSA has unveiled two new 350cc motorcycles at EICMA 2026. The new models are called the Bantam Scrambler 350 and Bantam Bobber 350. Along with these launches, the company has also introduced new colour options for four of its existing motorcycles for 2027.

Both new motorcycles are scheduled to go on sale in the European market next year. However, BSA, which is owned by Classic Legends, has not yet announced any plans to launch these models in India.

New 334cc Engine in the Bantam Scrambler 350

The design of the new Bantam Scrambler 350 takes inspiration from the 1966 BSA Bushman. Although it looks like a scrambler version of the Bantam 350, the motorcycle comes with several distinct features.

It is powered by a new 334cc, single-cylinder engine that produces a maximum power of 29 hp and 30 Nm of torque. BSA claims that the engine has been developed to deliver strong torque and quick throttle response at low and medium speeds. The company has also focused on improving power output while reducing the engine's weight.

In terms of hardware, the Scrambler 350 gets a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel. Braking duties are handled by a 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc. The motorcycle has a seat height of 812mm and a kerb weight of 184kg.

The Bantam Scrambler 350 will be available in three colour options, including black. However, the names of the other two colours have not yet been clearly revealed.

6-Speed Gearbox in the Bantam Bobber 350

The Bantam Bobber 350 gets a separate 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It produces 28.2 hp of maximum power and 26.4 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

For suspension, the motorcycle gets 41mm telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. It rides on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels. Braking is handled by 320mm front and 240mm rear disc brakes. Dual-channel ABS is offered as standard.

The bike has a seat height of 742mm and weighs 189kg. BSA has initially introduced it in dark red and grey colour options. The company has also hinted at introducing more colours in the future.

Special Features in the Bantam Bobber 350 SP Version

Along with the standard Bantam Bobber 350, BSA has also introduced the Bobber 350 SP, or Special Parts, version. This variant gets several changes compared to the standard model.

It features gold-finished USD front forks instead of conventional telescopic forks. The alloy wheels have been replaced with 16-inch wire-spoke wheels, along with a wider front tyre.

The SP version also gets a TFT display. For now, BSA has showcased this variant in a Dark Chrome colour option.

New Colours for Thunderbolt 350 and Gold Star 650

Apart from the two new motorcycles, BSA has introduced fresh colour options for four models in its existing lineup.

  • Thunderbolt 350: The adventure tourer will be available in Black/Yellow, Green/Ivory and Grey colour combinations. The motorcycle was initially expected to launch in mid-2026, but its launch has been delayed.

  • Bantam 350: The motorcycle will now be available in a new Mist Green colour. It was unveiled at EICMA 2025 and is already on sale.

  • Gold Star 650: The company has introduced new Birmingham Blue and Brooklands Black colour options. Both colours have also recently been introduced in the Indian market.

  • Scrambler 650: The motorcycle gets four new colour options: Deep Green, Black Chrome, Gloss Black and Victory Yellow. In India, it is currently available in Raven Black, Thunder Grey and Victory Yellow.

When Will the New BSA Motorcycles Launch in India?

BSA has confirmed that the new Bantam Scrambler 350, Bantam Bobber 350 and Thunderbolt 350 will reach European markets in 2027. However, the company has not yet confirmed whether the two new 350cc motorcycles will be launched in India.

Their prices have also not been announced. Therefore, their expected Indian prices in INR (Indian rupees) are not available at the moment.

BSA's current motorcycle lineup in India includes the Gold Star 650 and Scrambler 650. The introduction of the new 350cc models could help the company strengthen its presence in the country's retro and scrambler motorcycle segments.

However, Indian buyers will have to wait for an official announcement from BSA regarding the launch timeline, availability and pricing of these new motorcycles.
