Maruti’s New Baleno Starts at Rs 6 Lakh: Check Out the Big Features and Surprises
UdaipurTimes, September 7, 2026 | Automobile News: Maruti Suzuki has launched the new 2026 Baleno Facelift in the Indian market. The initial ex-showroom price of the car has been set at Rs 6.10 lakh. Although there are no major changes to the design of the new model, several important updates have been made to its features, safety and engine. In particular, Level 2 ADAS and the new Z-Series engine make the Baleno more modern than before.
The basic shape of the new Baleno remains the same as the previous model. However, it now gets newly designed projector LED headlamps and DRLs at the front, along with a new grille and updated bumper. There are not many changes at the rear either, but the car now gets a shark-fin antenna. New 16-inch alloy wheels make the car look more attractive. The Baleno is also available in a new Enigmatic Teal colour option.
Modern touches in the cabin
The car has a blue and black dual-tone interior. There is a floating infotainment screen on the dashboard. Physical buttons have also been kept for basic controls.
Colour option
The 2026 Maruti Baleno is available in seven colour options, giving buyers a good range of choices. The available shades include Enigmatic Teal (new), Nexa Blue, Grandeur Grey, Arctic White, Splendid Silver, Opulent Red, and Bluish Black.
A bunch of features, including ADAS
One of the biggest attractions of the new Baleno is Level 2 ADAS. It has features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, lane departure prevention, high-beam assist and forward collision warning. Along with this, it also gets facilities like six airbags, a 360-degree camera, TPMS, a head-up display, a wireless charger and front ventilated seats.
New Z-Series engine
The 2026 Baleno comes with a 1.2-litre Z-Series petrol engine. There are two types of transmission options: manual and automatic. In addition, a factory-fitted CNG variant with a manual gearbox will also be available.
