October 19, 2026: The full technical specifications of the Honda Rebel 300 cruiser motorcycle have been revealed. Both the standard model and the E-Clutch version share the same engine, chassis, suspension and most features. However, the E-Clutch variant comes with Honda's electronic clutch technology, which allows riders to start, stop and change gears without manually operating the clutch lever.

According to the provided information, the standard Honda Rebel 300 is priced at ₹2,22,000 (ex-showroom), while the E-Clutch version costs ₹2,62,000 (ex-showroom). This means there is a price difference of ₹40,000 between the two models.

286cc Engine and 6-Speed Gearbox

The Honda Rebel 300 is powered by a 286.01cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It produces a maximum power output of 27.6 bhp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 24.5 Nm at 6,250 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The standard version comes with an assist and slipper clutch, while the E-Clutch version features Honda's electronic clutch technology. This system automatically manages clutch operation when starting, stopping and changing gears. However, riders still need to use the gear lever to change gears.

LED Headlamp and TFT Display

The Honda Rebel 300 comes with an LED projector headlamp and a TFT instrument cluster. Through Honda RoadSync Bluetooth connectivity, riders can connect their smartphones to the motorcycle. Additional features include turn-by-turn navigation and a USB Type-C charging port.

For safety, both versions come with dual-channel ABS as standard. This system helps improve braking control by managing the braking force applied to the front and rear wheels.

Suspension and Tyre Specifications

The Honda Rebel 300 features telescopic front forks and dual rear shock absorbers. It comes with a 130/90-16 front tyre and a 150/80-16 rear tyre.

The motorcycle has a long wheelbase of 1,506 mm, which supports stability on the road. However, its ground clearance is just 129 mm, which could make it difficult to ride over large speed breakers and other road obstacles.

Weight, Seat Height and Dimensions

The Honda Rebel 300 has a seat height of 690 mm. This low seat height makes it easier for shorter riders to get on and off the motorcycle. It also helps riders place their feet firmly on the ground when the bike is stationary.

The motorcycle measures 2,200 mm in length, 808 mm in width and 1,125 mm in height. It has a fuel tank capacity of 11.2 litres.

In terms of weight, the standard model has a kerb weight of 173 kg, while the E-Clutch version weighs 176 kg. The E-Clutch variant is 3 kg heavier because of its additional technology.

Honda Rebel 300: Price of Both Versions

Version Ex-showroom Price Kerb Weight
Standard ₹2,22,000 173 kg
E-Clutch ₹2,62,000 176 kg

The E-Clutch version costs ₹40,000 more than the standard model. Riders who are comfortable using a conventional clutch may prefer the standard version, as it is more affordable.

On the other hand, the E-Clutch technology could be useful in city traffic, where riders frequently need to change gears. It removes the need to operate the clutch lever manually, making riding more convenient.

The main attractions of the Honda Rebel 300 include its 286cc engine, low seat height, cruiser design and the option of electronic clutch technology.

However, before making a purchase, buyers should confirm the latest prices, the motorcycle's availability in India and the specifications of the particular variant with an authorised Honda dealership.
