September 12, 2026: In India, if any company has beaten Royal Enfield and Honda models in terms of looks, the first choice for many is none other than Jawa Motorcycles. Indian youngsters, especially, have become fans of this bike. Jawa has now brought a new All Stars variant of the Jawa 42.
Interestingly, this model can the fortune for Jawa. According to car bloggers, people will get more than 60 changes in this bike. These include new styling, wider rear tyres, new alloy wheels and an upswept exhaust. Its price starts from approx Rs 1.80 lakh
The new Jawa All Stars now joins the Jawa 42 Bobber and 42 FZ, completing the brand's three-bike range. Jawa has said that this bike is the company's flagship model. Jawa has already established itself as a popular classic motorcycle brand in the Indian market, competing with Royal Enfield. This bike combines classic cruiser styling with modern technology.
What's new in the bike?
This time, you will get the most changes in this bike. The most noticeable changes have come to the stance of the motorcycle. Its rear part has also undergone major changes. It has newly designed side panels, a wider rear fender, new alloy wheels and a more compact upswept twin-exhaust setup. The rear tyre is now a wider 150/70-17 unit, which gives the 42 a wider footprint. The seat has also been redesigned and has been given extra cushioning while maintaining its characteristic flat, bench-like profile.
What's in the chassis and engine this time?
If you look at the exterior of the bike, you will see changes in its styling. Now, necessary changes have been made to its weight, frame and swingarm, ergonomics, handling and comfort. The company says that these changes are aimed at making it more aggressive while maintaining the easy and smooth use of the Jawa 42.
How powerful will the engine be this time?
Remember that the previous Jawa 42 model has a 294.72cc single-cylinder engine as before. It gets a four-stroke, liquid-cooled DOHC engine. It has a 6-speed constant-mesh gearbox. This engine produces 27.19 horsepower at 7,950 rpm and 26.3 Newton-metre of torque at 6,000 rpm.
In terms of the braking system, it has 280mm front disc and 240mm rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS. As for the suspension, there is a 35mm telescopic fork at the front and a gas-filled twin shock absorber at the rear, which has adjustable preload. The bike's weight has been kept unchanged at 175kg, while its wheelbase is 1,369mm and ground clearance is 173mm.
