Triumph Speed 400 and Tracker 400 after festive season price cut in India

September 17, 2026: Triumph Motorcycles has announced a price cut for its 400cc motorcycles in the Indian market ahead of the festive season. The ex-showroom prices of two models in its 400cc range, the Speed 400 and Tracker 400, have been reduced for a limited period. The price cut comes after the company increased prices twice since April.

The latest price reduction could make these motorcycles more attractive to buyers during the festive season, when demand for new bikes usually increases. Throughout this article, we will share complete details about the price cut, updated prices, and other important information about the Triumph 400cc motorcycles.

Triumph Speed 400 Gets a Rs 6,000 Price Cut

The ex-showroom price of the Triumph Speed 400 has been reduced by Rs 6,000. As a result, the price of the bike now stands at Rs 2.34 lakh. The Speed 400 has returned to the price level it had in June 2026. This discount comes after two price increases in the past.

Along with the price reduction, customers who buy the Speed 400 during the specified offer period will also receive accessories worth Rs 6,500 for free. The complimentary kit includes a windscreen, tank pad, and knee pad. This gives new owners additional benefits in terms of comfort and protection.

349.9cc Engine in the Speed 400

The Triumph Speed 400 is powered by a 349.9cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The engine produces around 39.5 bhp of power and 30 Nm of torque. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch.

The bike features a round LED headlamp, a compact digital-analogue instrument cluster, and a relatively comfortable roadster-style riding position.

Tracker 400 Gets a Rs 7,000 Price Cut

Triumph has offered a bigger discount on the Tracker 400 compared to the Speed 400. The price of the bike has been reduced by Rs 7,000, bringing its new ex-showroom price to Rs 2.42 lakh.

The new price is not only lower than the recent price but also below its June 2026 price of Rs 2.46 lakh. This makes the Tracker 400 more competitive in the 350cc to 450cc motorcycle segment.

Sportier Retro Design on the Tracker 400

The Tracker 400 also uses the same 349.9cc engine and 6-speed transmission as the Speed 400. However, it has a different design and riding position.

The bike features a flatter riding stance, clip-on handlebars, a low seat, and a minimalist rear section. The round LED headlamp is accompanied by a slim cowl, bar-end mirrors, and a compact rear subframe. The design is aimed at buyers who prefer a sportier look with a retro styling theme.

Triumph 400cc Motorcycle Price List

Apart from the Speed 400 and Tracker 400, the prices of the other four models in Triumph's 400cc range remain unchanged.

Model Ex-showroom Price
Speed T4 From Rs 2.09 lakh
Speed 400 From Rs 2.34 lakh
Tracker 400 From Rs 2.42 lakh
Scrambler 400 X From Rs 2.65 lakh
Thruxton 400 From Rs 2.75 lakh
Scrambler 400 XC From Rs 2.99 lakh

Among these models, the Scrambler 400 X has recently received new colour options, including Matte Pewter Grey and Matte Khaki Green.

The price cuts on the Speed 400 and Tracker 400 during the festive season have reduced the entry price for Triumph's 400cc range. However, the discount is available for a limited time, so buyers should check the offer period and applicable terms before booking.
