15 selected artists of Udaipur to receive training from International Painter
In the field of work on the living heritage of the city, Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation has organized a workshop at City Palace in which Udaipur’s selected best artists will learn art from an international painter.
In the field of work on the living heritage of the city, Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation has organized a workshop at City Palace in which Udaipur’s selected best artists will learn art from an international painter.
The workshop that will run till 19th October will be conducted by America’s renowned artist Rob Wonderjee who will teach the nuances of the art.
Chief Administrative Officer of Foundation Bhupendra Singh Auwa informed that for the workshop, artists who have contributed in this field were interviewed after which 15 were selected who will undergo free training from Rob.
On the occasion of inauguration of the workshop on Monday, Officer Vrinda Raje Singh said that the Foundation’s Chairman and MD Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar took the decision of conducting the workshop in an attempt to help conserve and promote the living heritage of the city by honing the skills of the local artists.
The final painters of Udaipur who are selected for the workshop are Sandeep Meghwal, Rahul Mali, Ranjana Jhangid, Yashpal Baranda, Dimple Chandat, Bhaskar Agrawal, Kirti Sharma, Aditi Babel, Suraj Soni, Siddharth Soni, Prekshika Dwivedi, Shazia Khan, Danish Sabil, Afshan Khan and Niharika Rathore. Post workshop, an exhibition will be organized displaying the art work by them.
