Resistance Group of Udaipur is organizing a rock concert ‘Pratigya – Earth Ka Unearth mat karo’, at Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal on  3rd October 2010 teaming up with the popular Oxyrock- The Band of Engineers from Ahemdabad. Entry charges are Rs.30 per person. Enthrallingly, like any other Rock concert this show is different because both these groups are here with a mission, a thought for the betterment of the society and environment. As Aamir Ahmed of the Resistance Group says , “Charity begins at home.” Their main aim behind this concert is to create environmental awareness and consciousness among the people of Udaipur. Their main focus being on the importance of removal and ban of plastics and ploythene bags .For this at the end of the concert, Safal Society along with Resistance Group will distribute cloth bags worth Rs.10 to each guest. Interestingly, music with message will glorify the beauty and splendor of Udaipur. Resistance Group, Udaipur is social group formed by Mr.Aamir Ahmed together with his three college friends. A strange thing about this group is that all these four friends Aamir, Kumar Kaushal, Chakshu Chaubisa and Hitesh Khubchandani are from different engineering branches, they all are doing their Engineering from Techno India NJR Institute. These four energetic youngsters started this group with a mission to create social awareness among the people of Udaipur. Their main concern is to educate and aware people about their health, its related problems and to help and support the people of Udaipur to get speedy justice. They together did their first event ‘Save Water’ on May 2, 2010 with Techno India NJR Institute. Since then there is no looking back for these 4 techie hunks. After rocking the whole nation with their energetic and foot-tapping music they are finally here in Udaipur, to take the city by storm. Oxyrock, “The Band of Engineers” who is going to accompany Resistance Group, is a fusion of energetic trio of engineers from Ahemdabad.  Peeyush aka king, is main vocalist who with his style keeps listeners on their toes. Vishal, a network engineer is rhythm arranger and programmer of this band. He rolls his fingers hard on keyboard to give life in music they deliver. Viren, electronics engineer, is lead and sole guitarist who in his hardcore style tunes up audience with various types of distortion effects.
