Nepalese mountaineer Kami Rita Sherpa has set a new record by climbing Mount Everest 30 times. He achieved this incredible feat on May 22, 2024, when he reached the summit of the world's highest peak, standing at 8,849 meters. He first conquered Everest in 1994 and is widely known as the "Mount Man."

Kami Rita Sherpa had previously climbed Mount Everest for the 29th time on May 12, 2024. Besides Everest, Kami Rita Sherpa has also climbed other famous peaks like K2, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, and Manaslu.

In 2023, Kami Rita Sherpa climbed Everest twice in a single season, marking his 27th and 28th ascents. Kami Rita Sherpa now holds the record for the most ascents of Mount Everest.
