6 Udaipurites among 20 Indians selected in IESO
In International Earth Science Olympiad (IESO) Stage- I, 6 students from the city of lakes have been selected. Overall, a total of 20 students have been selected from all over India.
In International Earth Science Olympiad (IESO) Stage- I, 6 students from the city of lakes have been selected. Overall, a total of 20 students have been selected from all over India.
5 of the selected students, Vandit Swansukha, Sachin Goyal, Pranav Gothwal, Nikhil Gupta and Bhadhai Murdia are studying at Resonance, Udaipur.
This Olympiad is organized by Geological Society of India in 3 stages. The first stage of Olympiad was conducted on 28th April 2013 in 54 different cities of India. The Stage-II (Camp) of International earth science Olympiad will be held on 18 to 4 June in Mysore.
The selected student will undergo the training program which includes theory and practical learning by the experienced faculty of India. The Top-4 student will get the chance to represent India at International level along with the cash prize of Rs. 5000 and meritorious certificate.
According to Arun Shrimali, Centre Manager, Resonance Udaipur earlier Yash Gupta and Yash Nalwaya had also won the Silver medal in International Earth Science Olympiad held at Modena, Italy during 5th to 14th September 2011.
