Lok Sabha MP Shashi Tharoor unveiled a poetry collection by 9 yr old Aviraj Singhvi at an event held at Hotel Udaivilas in Udaipur. Tharoor liked the work to such an extent that he immediately shared the details on his Twitter account.

Raunak Singhvi and Akshita Singhvi, parents of Aviraj said that Aviraj is arguably the youngest in the country to unveil such a large collection of poetry. This collection was published on 6 May 2022, making him the youngest poet in India to have compiled such a vast piece of work.

Aviraj is an avid reader as well and his interest in writing developed from Class 4, which was further honed by his teachers. He kept his written poems in a diary, which ultimately turned into a compilation.

Aviraj and his parents met Shashi Tharoor at Udaivilas and handed him a signed copy of the collection. Tharoor, impressed by the work, motivated the youngster and told him to keep up the work and read and write as much as possible. Tharoor also read out a few lines from the collection in front of the audience.

Aviraj says that his grandparents, Ashok and Sunita Singhvi's motivation helped him develop a passion for poetry. He began to write, reaching a point where he could compile all of his work in the form of a published collection. This collection consists of 76 poems. The poetic styles in his compilation include Alliteration Pyramid, Cinquain Poems, Limerick, Diamante, Concentrate, Simile, Personification, Odes and Ballads. The poems have been presented in text supported by beautiful graphics to make them more attrative to readers.
