Sarwar Abbas of Udaipur has secured All India Rank 72 at the GATE 2022 Examination in the Chemical Engineering stream (CH). Results of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 examination that was held in February 2022, were declared today on 17 March.

Currently in the final semester (BE Chemical) at the Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi, Sarwar took his first attempt at this examination this year to secure a GATE Score of 750 and AIR 72. The position will facilitate his chances of admission into premier institutes across India for his Masters program.

Sarwar is aiming for admission into Masters programs in premier institutes in India and intends to pursue his career in Research. His interest lies in the field of Chemical Reaction Engineering.

The GATE Examination is an admission-cum-recruitment tests and evaluates the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in Engineering and Science. This score is used for admission into Masters Programs and in recruitment with premier Public Sector companies. The GATE is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT-K), jointly with six other IITS, viz. Mumbai, Roorkee, Delhi, Chennai, Kanpur and Guwahati along with Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, on behalf of National Coordination Board of the Ministry of Education, GoI.

There is no standard examination paper of GATE, as each subject is tested individually and the All India Ranking is separate for each subject of expertise.
