Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, the High Priest of the global Dawoodi Bohra community, visited Udaipur on 19 October after a period of more than 5 years, albeit for a few hours.
Syedna arrived at Dabok airport today afternoon, after which he gave a sermon at Khanjipeer followed by a visit to the Dargah in Khanjipeer and then a visit to the Syed Luqmanji Dargah at Bohrawadi in the walled city area of Udaipur.
He then paid a brief visit to the residence of a member of the community and left for his next stop at Bhilwara. Thousands of community members who had been in waiting to welcome high priest all these days, thronged the roads and nearby buildings at Khanjipeer and Bohrawadi to catch a glimpse of the Syedna and take his blessings.
As per the itenary, the Syedna will be stationed in Bhilwara on 19 and 20 October and will visit Amet and Nathdwara on 21 October. He will then visit Fatehnagar, Kapasan and Chittor on 23-24 October and proceed to Bhadsoda and Kanod on 24 October. He will stay at Bhinder from 26-29 October and then will leave for Surat.
