Just last week, Udaipur saw the unfurling of a 108 ft high national flag at Maharana Pratap airport. Now, at the other extreme, Udaipur’s renowned miniature artist, Iqbal Sakka, has come up with a miniature national flag that is just 0.5mm in length.

The miniature flag can be seen clearly with a magnifying glass. The flag is so small that it can pass through the needle hole of India’s thinnest needle of 12 number.

Sakka claims that the flag is smaller that the currently existing world record of smallest national flag that is held by a Waterloo University student for Canada’s national flag.

Sakka has made a claim for registration with the Guinness book of World record for recording the flag as world’s smallest.
