On the occasion of Republic day celebration at the Maharaja Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, Dr. Lokesh Gupta, Assistant Professor of the Department of Farm Machinery and Power Engineering, College of Technology and Engineering, had been honored with Appreciation Award by Vice Chancellor Prof. O. P. Gill.

The award was given to Dr. Gupta for his outstanding contribution in the University for conducting research in the field of animal nutrition and draught animal power utilization.

Previously, Dr. Gupta was honored with Bhartiya Govansha Sambardhan Pratisthan Award in Animal Energy, by Indian Society of Agricultural Engineering, New Delhi; he is also the Best Paper award winner by International Congress for Animal Reproduction, Canada.
