Arvana celebrated empowerment of women, their freedom, strength and success by honoring 25 ladies with Arvana Queen’s Award dedicated to businesswomen of Udaipur. The program was organized by Arvana – Business Destination under their CSR activity.

 

Arvana Queen’s Award: 25 Budding Businesswomen of Udaipur Arvana celebrated empowerment of women, their freedom, strength and success by honoring 25 ladies with Arvana Queen’s Award dedicated to businesswomen of Udaipur. The program was organized by Arvana – Business Destination under their CSR activity.

The chief guests of the program were Alka Sharma – director of Central Public School and Rockwoods High School, Asma Khan – First Muslim Pradhan of Kurabad, Varsha Tripathi, Bollywood singer and acid attack survivors Sonia and Rupa (Representatives of Sheroes Hangout).

Hasan Aftab of Arvana informed that Queen’s Award is named after the Queen’s Street a floor in Arvana which is dedicated to only women oriented products and goods. It is made to offer safe and secure shopping environment to the female shoppers.

Dr Amita Singhvi – Greet By Heart

Greet by heart is a personalized greetings and gifting company. The ecommerce portal www.greetbyheart.com is online since September 2015.

Founded by Dr. Amita Singhvi while she was looking something exclusive to be gifted to people, she started getting cards designed for her family members and friends on their birthdays/anniversaries etc.

Dr. Singhvi worked as a Principal in various commerce colleges during her academic career lasting more than 15 years. She wanted to start her own venture from a long time. On her 50th birthday she decided to quit the job and start her new venture as an entrepreneur. Thus came into existence Greet By Heart.

In the current generation of start ups, Dr. Singhvi started her own ecommerce venture with no technical background whatsoever and learnt the basics of technology from scratch just out of her passion for making people happy by designing special and exclusive gifts.

From a qualified Chartered Accountant to a well known chef and baker, Garima Singhvi Babel is also the director of Mahila Samridhhi Urban Co operative Bank. Her passion for food dominated her profession of Chartered Accountant and finally GB temptation was founded with an intention to teach rich and quality dessert and dishes.

Till now Garima has taught over 300 lovely students and recently also started taking orders for cakes and desserts.

Ridhima Khamesra – Diet Clinic

Ridhima Khamesra is a dietician and originally hails from Ambala, she did her bachelors from Thapar, Patiala and masters from ICFAI.

 Her love for nutrition evolved after gaining weight, she became intrigued by the concept of nutrition after losing tremendous kilos.  Ridhima took diploma in Dietics and nutrition from Delhi and practiced in Chandigarh. Nikita Lall is a makeup and style specialist. Born and brought up in Udaipur, Nikita completed her masters in English literature from MLSU. She started my career as F&B Hostess at Taj lake palace for a year and later did advance diploma course in Cosmetology from VLCC institute.

Nikita did many wedding events and also received compliments and appraisal for her work. Nikita started her first parlour in 2012 from a 150sqft then to a bigger area in 2013 and now starting a significantly large parlour at Arvana.
