Dawoodi Bohra (Youth) Mourns Passing of Leader Mulla Pir Ali

Community leaders and members pay rich tributes to the departed soul at a condolence meeting held at Bohra Kabrastaan

Udaipur, Dec 13, 2025 - Haji Mulla Pir Ali, a highly-respected and prominent leader of the Udaipur Dawoodi Bohra community (Bohra Youth), passed away Saturday (December 13) morning, leaving the community in deep mourning.

The late leader, who was popular for his genteel mannerism and affable personality, was buried at the Dawoodi Bohra cemetery in Khanjipeer Saturday afternoon following funeral prayers at Rasoolpura Masjid in Bohrawadi. A large number of community members attended the prayers and the funeral.

The burial was followed by a condolence meet at the Khanjipeer Bohra Kabrastaan. Central Board of Dawoodi Bohra Community Chairperson Commander Mansoor Ali Bohra, senior community leader Abid Adeeb, Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat Secretary Firoz Hussain Tinwala, Bohra Youth Sansthan Secretary Yusuf RG and several others paid rich tribute to the departed soul and extended their heartfelt condolences to community and family members.

As a mark of respect, members of the community kept their shops and businesses closed for the day.

Mulla Pir Ali had been actively involved in performing religious duties for the Dawoodi Bohra community for many years now. He regularly presided over and conducted Muharram majlises along with solemnising nikahs and other religious rituals. His demise has left a huge void in the community. He was not only a learned person but a gentle soul known for his generosity, discipline and punctuality.
