Due to the recklessness and non-conduct of two of the residents of Bhopalpura Mathh a chemical blast occurred in that area today. Both the accused are now in custody of the police under the explosive act.

Rajesh s/o Ganesh Lal Jain, Bhopalpura Math and Himmat s/o Mohan Lal, New Bhopalpura used to work together and they had a room at Bhopalpura Mathh, near St Paul’s School which they used as their workplace.

The job they do includes marble polishing by mixing a thinner, white oil, chemical ink and other solvents on a high temperature. During the same procedure today, a chemical blast happened in their workshop around 2.30 PM, which resulted in the breaking of all the doors and windows of the house they were using as workplace.

Acting immediately, both the accused were taken into custody by the Bhopalpura Police as civilians are not allowed to store such toxic and inflammable substances in such amount and use them near residential areas.
