He will be a part of the Indian contingent at the Asian & World Youth Under -6 Chess competition in 2019.

“Armaan’s success is all because of his coaches Vikas Sahu and Rajendra Teli.  He enjoys the game and can play for hours.  Feels no pressure at any stage.  His favorites are Magnus Carlson and Vishwanathan Anand.  All the games he played across the tournaments were with children who were at least two years older than him…but because he thoroughly enjoys his game, this did not unnerve him.  He played some really long games, which went on for 2 to 3 hours and that has been his real learning – concentration and patience.”

Swati Agarwal, Armaan’s mother.

Vikas Sahu, trainer and national referee informed that Armaan beat Sai Siddhant Dhara and Raghav K from Tamil Nadu, Rudransh Sharma from Himachal and Satyaki Kumar from West Bengal and earned himself 4 points.
