Chinmay Gaur is an aspiring musician from Udaipur. Studied from MDS and Kendriya Vidyalaya, he is currently pursuing his post graduation in Indian classical instrumental music from Maharaj Sayajirao University Vadodara and also learning flute under the legendry artist, the Maestro Padma Bhusan Shri Hariprasad Chaurasiya Ji in Mumbai.
Starting with Harmonium, Chinmay has acquired mastery over several instruments including, Violin, Flute, Synthesizer, Guitar, Melodica and a few others. It is his sheer passion and dedication towards his work that without any musical background he has come this far. It is his hard work only that has transformed from him from being a boy who used to stammer a lot to a person with great confidence.
Coming from a society where most of the people think that Arts is only for the failure students, just to prove them wrong he scored meritorious marks in 12th CBSE board which would have not been very useful for his career but psychologically it made him realize that nothing is impossible.
He has performed at many prestigious stages including Modhera Sun Temple festival 2016 and performed at the National Center of Performing Arts Mumbai.
He also got the second runner up position in the nationwide India’s best classical performer 2016 held at NCPA Mumbai.
In today’s time where the youngsters are not much associated with our culture and arts, Chinmay is continuously putting his efforts in the direction of giving the classical music the place it belongs. He is a music composer, he is a writer and also a motivational speaker.
In his tribute to the grate warrior of Mewar, Maharana Pratap, he has composed music for the iconic poem by Late Shri Shyam Narayan Pandey ‘Rana Pratap ki Talwar’.
The music and the voice is given by him.
