Udaipur’s congress leaders and activists commemorated the death anniversary of Gulab Singh Shaktawat, freedom fighter and political leader of Mewar. The program was conducted at Ashok Nagar memorial.

A similar program was also organized at Bhinder where Shaktawat’s monument was unveiled by CM Ashok Gehlot in 2012.

Several leaders including the family members of Late Shaktwat were present in the commemoration ceremony.

Gajendra Singh Shaktawat, parliament secretary and MLA of Vallabhnagar, Sajjan Katara MLA Rural, Devendra Singh Shaktawat chairman Bhinder Nagar Palika, Lal Singh Jhala Congress President (Rural), Neelima Sukhadia, congress president (City), Trilok Purbia and Pankaj Sharma etc were present on the occasion.
