June 13, 2025 - Australia captain Pat Cummins made South Africa dance to his tune in the final of the World Test Championship 2025. The entire Proteas team collapsed for just 138 runs in the face of Cummins’ fiery bowling. He bowled 18.1 overs and took 6 wickets for just 28 runs, with an economy rate of 1.50.
With this brilliant performance, the captain broke several records. Cummins has now completed 300 wickets in Test cricket. He has become the 8th Australian bowler to reach this milestone.
Cummins has achieved the best-ever Test bowling figures by a captain at Lord’s, surpassing England’s Bob Willis.
