Another World Record, but this one transcends the others to be one of its kind - not for the self but an example of how spirit and determination can overcome even the nastiest of odds. This is Dr. Arvinder Singh, the CEO & CMD of Arth Group of Udaipur, who has added another remarkable achievement to his impressive list of records.

Dr Singh of the Arth Group established a world record by navigating the highly challenging and brutal Khardungla pass in near Leh in Ladakh on a Quad Bike. What made this achievement all the more extraordinary is the fact that Dr. Arvinder Singh did this even after being restricted with a 80 percent disability. Dr. Arvinder Singh becomes the first person in the world to have achieved this task, a feat that got his name registered in the World Book of Records, London.

The cherry on the cake was when the achievement of navigating the highest motorable pass was acknoledged by none other than the Hon'ble Governor of Ladakh, Shri BD Mishra. HE Governor of Ladakh presented Dr. Arvinder Singh with the Certificate of the World Record for his historic achievement at is official residence, viz. Raj Niwas, Leh, Ladakh and congratulated him by an official tweet.

Dr Singh was also congratulated in Leh, Ladakh by Senior Superintendent of Police, Mrs. P.D. Nitya, Chief Executive Councilor Adv. Tashi Gyalson, Executive Councilor Ghulam Mehdi and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Nurzin Angmo. 

While records and achievements are not new to Dr. Arvinder Singh. He already takes pride in holding the distinction of an astounding 123 academic degrees to his name, which in itself is a world record. He and his atart up Arth Group have been in the news for both personal and professional achievements and accolades, by government heads, NOGs and world renowened bodies. With his recent feat at Khardungla Pass, Dr. Arvinder Singh has once again proven that barriers are only as limiting as we allow them to be.

He is the first physically challenged individual to have successfully undertaken scuba diving in the Maldives. He also holdsa State Gold Medal in Pistol Shooting in the Para Category.
