Dr. Prakash Chandra Jain, South Rajasthan’s regional environment in charge of Bharat Vikas Parishad has been honored by Rotary Club of Udaipur for his outstanding contribution as an active environmentalist. He is awarded with Best Environmental Activist of the year 2013-14.

In the last 15 years, Dr. Jain has worked extensively in the field of rain water harvesting and preservation through various mediums of spreading awareness like CD, shows, songs, plays, letter writing, SMS etc.

He has connected more than 1500 buildings, government schools, colleges, hotels, hand pumps, water bodies etc. and recharged it with rain water preservation. At the age of 65, Dr. Jain’s dedication is an encouragement for many.
