Dr. Kamal Singh Rathore, Associate Professor and Head of Department, Pharmaceutics secured First place at the coveted National Conference of 19th Association of Pharmaceutical Teacher's of India at Chhatrapati Shivaji Sports Complex, Balewadi, Pune. This conference was held from November 28-30, 2014.
Dr. Kamal Singh Rathore, Associate Professor and Head of Department, Pharmaceutics secured First place at the coveted National Conference of 19th Association of Pharmaceutical Teacher’s of India at Chhatrapati Shivaji Sports Complex, Balewadi, Pune. This conference was held from November 28-30, 2014.
Principal Dr. C.S. Chauhan, BN Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences told UdaipurTimes that there were more than 1,700 participants from all over India including Scientists, Academicians, Industrial Pharmacists, Post Graduate students in Pharmacy, etc.
Dr.Kamal presented three papers in this seminar on different drug delivery systems and recent advances in pharmaceutical packaging and he won first prize on ” Evaluation of Anti-Inflammatory and Anti-Arthritic activity of Pongamia Pinnata Piere seed, along with co-author D. Singh and Dr. C.S. Chauhan. The theme of the conference was “Emerging trends in Pharmacy Profession and Education”
MD of BN Institutions Dr. N.N. Singh congratulated Dr. Kamal Singh Rathore on his achievement and also told that this incident will be a milestone in Pharmacy history from Rajasthan. Students and teachers will be motivated to work harder and bring more such laurels to the institute and to Udaipur. Dr. Indrajeet Singhvi, President, APTI Rajasthan and Bhupendra Vyas, HoD, Pharmacognosy, BNIPS were also present on this occasion.
