Dr. Vinod Saharan, Assistant Professor of Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, RCA, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology were awarded P. P. Singhal Memorial Pesticides Industries Award- 2014.

He also received a cash prize of Rs 25000/- for research paper entitled “Synthesis and antifungal efficacy of pH regulated Cu-chitosan based biocompatible nano-particles against phytopathogenic fungi.”

The paper was presented at XXXVI Annual Conference & National Symposium organized in Tamil Nadu Agriculture University, Coimbatore (TN) on Feb. 12-14th, 2015.
