At the swearing in ceremony of the Udaipur Medical Practitioners’ Society, held at Hotel Shikarbadi on Monday, 20th April, Dr. Saleh Mohammad Kagzi was elected as the Secretary of the Society.  Dr. Saleh is a well-known Orthopaedic Surgeon in Rajasthan and is currently also providing his services as Assistant Professor at Pacific Medical College, Udaipur.

Dr. Arun Samar, Opthalmic Surgeon; Dr. Sanjay Mehta, Paediatrician and Dr. Abizer Hussain, Anaesthetist were sworn in as President, Joint Secretary and Treasurer of the Society, respectively.

Dr. Saleh, in his thanks giving speech, pledged that he and his team in the Society will work towards betterment of health and medical services for the residents of Udaipur, and for whomsoever approaches the city for better medical services.

He also said that his team in the Society will help Government carry out various health related programs related to rural areas, malnourishment alleviation, Maternal and child health, Infectious disease, dental health, and would fight for the eradication of society evils like female Foeticide, illegal sex determination, etc.  “We will carry out health education programs, Camps, etc throughout the year for the benefit of Local people”, he said.
