MLSU faculty elected as the Fellow of Royal Society of Biology

 
Dr Vineet Soni, Head of Department of Botany at Mohan Lal Sukhadia University Udaipur was accorded Fellowship at the Royal Society of Biology, UK

Dr. Vineet Soni, Head & Associate Professor of the Department of Botany at the Mohanlal Sukhadia University (MLSU), Udaipur, has been elected as Fellow of the highly prestigious Royal Society of Biology (FRSB), UK.

The fellowship is bestowed in recognition of one’s scientific and ground level contribution to research in Biology. Fellows of RSB are those who achieved distinction in the fields of Biological research, teaching and application of Biology for social welfare. 

Dr. Soni is well known for carrying the scientific research from Lab-to-Land and founder of "Save Guggul Movement". His research group is working in collaboration with esteemed laboratories of Germany, Switzerland, Poland and France to understand the photosynthesis and plant responses to environmental stresses. Earlier, Dr. Soni has been honoured with several national and international fellowships and awards for his research in Plant Biology.
