It was informed by Hariprasad Gupta uncle of Tarun Gupta (in photo above), that Tarun’s mother spoke to the last person who saw Tarun in the jeep, Pandit Madanlal.

Madanlal claimed that he tried to stop the vehicle saying that the “Seri Nala” canal is overflowing because of heavy rains and an accident could occur. They apparently did not listen due to the loud noise of the overflowing water.

Madanlal said that the “Seri Nala” where the accident occurred, joins a river which flows to neighboring Pakistan.
