November 20, 2024 - Professor Suresh Sharma from AIIMS Jodhpur has made history by becoming the first Indian nursing professional inducted into the American Academy of Nursing (AAN). This recognition acknowledges his outstanding contributions to nursing education and leadership.

Professor Sharma has worked in nursing academia for over 20 years. He has held important positions at Dayanand Medical College & Hospitals, Ludhiana, AIIMS Rishikesh, and AIIMS Jodhpur, where he is currently serving.

He completed his Master’s degree at PGIMER, Chandigarh, and his Doctorate at Punjab University. This achievement brings global recognition to his work in nursing.
