Freedom Fighter Pandit Avadh Vihari Vajpayee passes away
Pandit Avadh Vihari Vajpayee who actively took part in the Indian Independence Movement in 1942 passed away on Saturday 26th Oct. The funeral procession and the last rites were conducted today with full state honor.

Representing State Administration, ADM (city) Mohammad Yaseen Pathan offered garland on to the corpse. Armed Policemen also gave honor to the freedom fighter.
Pandit Avadh Vihari Vajpayee was 15-year-old when he took part in the Independence Movement and lodged in jail for more than a week. He was again jailed for one month after being caught with publishing material related to the movement.
Born in Untala (Vallabhnagar), Avadh Vihari is survived by his wife, brothers, sons and a daughter.
