Geetanjali’s Shivani wins 9 medals in National Swimming Competition

At the South Yearly Sports Competition (Pulse 2015) organized by Akhil Bhartiya Ayurvigyan Sansthan, Delhi, Geetanjali Medical College’s Shivani Singh Chauhan brought laurels by winning 9 medals in the swimming competition

 

Geetanjali’s Shivani wins 9 medals in National Swimming Competition

At the South Yearly Sports Competition (Pulse 2015) organized by Akhil Bhartiya Ayurvigyan Sansthan, Delhi, Geetanjali Medical College’s Shivani Singh Chauhan brought laurels by winning 9 medals in the swimming competition.

Swimmer Shivani, student of second year won 3 gold and 6 silver medals in the competition in which more than 300 medical colleges participated from South Asia.

Shivani won gold medals in 50 & 200 m freestyle and freestyle relay while silver medals in 50 & 100 m back stroke, 50 & 100 m freestyle and 50 & 100 breast stroke competitions.

Last year, Shivani had won 3 gold medals in Pulse 2014 besides being state champion for 12 times and once national champion. She has so far won 124 medals in swimming.
