The day that celebrates the signing of our Constitution, Republic Day in Udaipur was celebrated by all with Tiranga flags soaring high and spirits of patriotism.

The day that celebrates the signing of our Constitution, Republic Day in Udaipur was celebrated by all with Tiranga flags soaring high and spirits of patriotism.

On the 66th Republic Day, many visionaries irrespective of age, caste, creed or religion were honored by the Chief Guest Gulab Chand Kataria at Maharana Bhupal Stadium for their tremendous contribution in their respective fields.

A total of 32 people were presented with appreciation letter. The awardees included:

  • Dipesh Rawal, student of Arts College of MLSU for being the Best Cadet and his performance in sports, co-curricular activities and social work.
  • Arpita Acharya from Law College, MLSU for excellence in Republic Day Parade at New Delhi, 2014 by NSS.
  • Bhagwati Maheshwari, clerk at Devsthan Department for her contribution at Commissioner’s branch office tasks, transfers, placements and in her own zone.
  • Mohd. Imran Khan for being the Limca Book and 4 World record holder in the field of Skating.
  • Stenographer Hariprasad Ameta, additional district collector for sincere work in the city
  • Dr. Sujan Singh who is working for over 50 years in the Bharat Scout Guide Organization.
  • Khurshid Hussain Bohra for editing the Special Revision Program during Vidhan Sabha elections 2013, Lok Sabha elections 2014 and Nagar Nigam elections 2014.
  • Manjula Gamar, teacher at Government Sr Sec School, Bagpura.
  • Narayan Lal Dangi, divisional commissioner and Commissioner of Tribal Development Dept.
  • Naresh Paneri, Project Officer of Tribal Development Dept for curing 1736 TB patients and undertaking 400 vasectomies.
  • Muskan Vyas for skating.

  • Dinesh Kharadi, Medical officer for treatment of seasonal diseases.

  • Mangilal Hathi, for treating patients free of cost through herbal medicines.
  • Sudhir Dave for commendable work in Action Udaipur, Sweep and Voting Awareness Campaigns.

  • Narayan Damor, Patwari of Kherwada for implementation of government work.
