Udaipur Based 'Shivohini TechAI" | A Journey From Personal Setbacks to Global Innovation
'Dreams don’t need permission, they need persistence' - Gunjan Bhatia, Founder, Shivohini TechAI
Udaipur Nov 10, 2025: At the recent Women in Construction Summit in Dubai held on 1st October 2025 at AL HABTOOR RESORT JBL, DUBAI. Dr Gunjan Bhatia, Founder of Shivohini TechAI LLP, was asked, “Have you ever faced a setback in your life?” She paused, not because she lacked an answer, but because her story is built on “setbacks, strength, and stunning comebacks.”
Hailing from Udaipur and a conservative family, Dr Bhatia’s dreams were constrained by traditional boundaries. Inspired by Indra Nooyi during her graduation years, she was told, “Whatever you want to do, do it after marriage.” Marriage became the toughest chapter; she lost her voice not once, but thrice, yet each time she looked at her son and found the strength to rise again.

After becoming a mother and facing the challenge of supporting her child, Dr Bhatia made a life-changing decision: accept a job in Germany. “Leaving my son behind in India was the hardest decision of my life,” she says. But the purpose was clear; she needed the financial independence she achieved when she completed her first master’s degree, and that turned into her launchpad. She went abroad so she could build a foundation, funds, resilience, and identity to one day start her own company.
Today, Shivohini TechAI is that company: born out of courage and conviction. The firm now delivers AI-solutions across India, the UAE and Oman, including virtual assistants for public services and fraud detection in banking. More recently, its focus has turned to the hospitality industry in the Middle East: developing AI-driven “waiter” technologies and guest-service automation tools that help hotels and resorts streamline operations, enhance guest experience, and meet the region’s increasing demand for tech-enabled hospitality.
As Dr Bhatia shared on stage,
“Sometimes life doesn’t break you to end your story, it breaks you to help you rewrite it.”
The applause that filled the hall wasn’t just for her story; it was for the unwavering strength that every woman carries within her. From Udaipur to Dubai, her journey is a testament that dreams don’t need permission, they need persistence. To join us on Facebook Click Here and Subscribe to UdaipurTimes Broadcast channels on GoogleNews | Telegram | Signal
