 5 members Jaydeep Sharma (25), Ravi Audichya (26), Gaurav Meena (25), Vimal Purbia (25) and Sunil Tak (25) had finished their education (B.Tech and MBA) and were happily serving corporate giants when one Saturday; that they call it their Discussion Day, led to the idea of online business.

Somewhere between current salary, purpose of life and marketing strategies, a concept of being self employed hit them hard and after 2 months of rigorous market survey, they launched an online cake delivery service under the name- TeraMeraCake.com.

On 16^th August 2014 they received their first official order and within 4 months they were able to sell over 550 cakes. Delivering freshly baked cakes at midnight hours is their forte.

If these 5 men are the main brains behind this venture then Amit Tiwari is the main hand who bakes the most sumptuous cakes. Hailing from Benaras (UP), 12^th pass Amit, with no professional degree or diploma has been in this field for the last 7 years and has worked at various places before.

His hobby of cooking turned into a passion and now his profession. He creates delicious cakes for wedding, birthday, corporate events and special events keeping in mind the requirement.

Talking to UT about the venture, Gaurav says, “I passed out of IIM-U in 2014 and was selected in campus recruitment. I dropped that offer and started working in Udaipur. Likewise, Jaydeep Sharma (B Tech-CS) was working in Noida for 3 months; Ravi (MBA in Marketing), Sunil (B Tech-CS) and website developer Vimal (B Tech-CS) were working in Ahmedabad.”

“One fine day, we sat together and this idea came up which made us leave our jobs and strive for our passion. It involved a bit of a risk as we started this venture with Rs. 6 Lacs as initial investment, and today when we see ourselves creating happy moments for people, we find that the risk was worth a shot.”
