Senior Journalist of the region, Bahadur Singh Sarupriya (78) passed away today morning. He entered the field of journalism by joining ‘Ganrajya’, Jaipur in the year 1958.

Senior Journalist of the region, Bahadur Singh Sarupriya (78) passed away today morning. He entered the field of journalism by joining ‘Ganrajya’, Jaipur in the year 1958.

He was inclined towards Literature, Art and Journalism from a very young age. Sarupriya also served on various positions in institutions like Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal, Aayurved Sevashram and Gandhi Seva Sadan.

He was also associated with Annuvrat Masik, Rashtradoot, Amar Rajasthan, Deshdoot, JanGan, Pandrah August, Kolahal and Pragiti for a long time.

After leaving Navbharat Times as a Journalist, he joined Rajasthan Patrika and worked for a long time. Many of his pieces were very well received by the readers. Sarupriya also established ‘Sadhna Information Service’.
