Udaipur’s Kanisha Garg has done the city proud by winning the Mrs India 2017 title, challenging 3,000 participants from across the country.

26 year old Kanisha is a fashion designer by profession and has worked in television serials prior to her marriage.

The fashion cum beauty pageant Dellywood Mrs India 2017 contest was held in Mumbai and is a platform for married women to showcase their modelling skills.  Kanisha won a prize purse of Rs 2 lakh apart from a lucrative modelling contract.  This effort and performance from Kanisha becomes all the more interesting as she has not taken any professional training prior to attempting this pageant.

This was the first such pageant that Kanisha, who aims to win the Mrs Asia title, has taken part in.  The story dates back to September 2016, when she won the Mrs Udaipur title which was a part of the audition for the final Mrs India title.  Physical beauty, IQ, conversation and communication skills and dancing skills have been the elements that have contributed to her win, says Kanisha.

Subsequent to winning the title, Kanisha will now be a part of jury members for beauty and fashion pageants all across Rajasthan.  She aims to get skilled individuals from Rajasthan on the beauty pageant and film industry platform.
