Logo of Smart City Udaipur has been designed by a student of CEPT University. Not only Udaipur, designs by the student have been selected to be implemented by two other cities.

Jil Sheth had studied Bachelors of Construction Technology from CEPT University. She has won five national-level competitions organised by Indian Government. She won the first prize for logo of Smart City Udaipur and the logo will be adopted as official logo of Smart City Udaipur. She also bagges seond position in ‘Make Your City Smart – Phase- 2’ –for design street in Bhopal, ‘Make Your City Smart – Phase- 2’ of design park in Bhopal and ‘Make Your City Smart Phase 1’ for Jabalpur. She got a special mention for Coimbatore Smart City.

Jil said that she had been interested in Smart cities and their designs ever since she joined CEPT. She mentioned that she used features of Udaipur city in the logo and colours and motifs were chosen accordingly.

She has received full scholarship and will now study urban and regional planning at Edinburgh.
