IAS Kunj Bihari Pandya took charge of the Department of Mines and Geology, Udaipur last week.  He was transferred from his erstwhile post as Commissioner, Medical Education department, Jaipur, Rajasthan in the IAS transfer orders earlier this month. He takes over as Director Department of Mines and Geology Directorate, Udaipur. 

President of the Mining Women Cell (Mining Mahila Prakoshth) Sakina Paliwala along with the ladies staff at the department welcomed the new Director on his first day at office, on 15 JUly 2020.

KB Pandya is a 2008 IAS of the Rajasthan cadre.  Before his posting as Commissioner Medical Education department, KB Pandya was the Managing Director of Rajasthan Tourism Development Authority, Jaipur.

KB Pandya's earlier posting in Udaipur was during the period May 1989- May 1990 when he was posted in the city of lakes as Assistant Collector and Executive Magistrate (UT) Udaipur.  He hails from Banswara.
