Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar has been awarded honorary membership of the prestigious Australian Richmond Tigers Football Club. The membership is expected to strengthen the football relationships between India and Australia.

Lakshyaraj was awarded the membership in a function organised in Melbourne, Australia. Officials at Richmond Tigers Football Club believe that this step would help in improving the coordination between Indian and Australian football leagues.

World’s fastest athlete Usain Bolt is also a honorary member of this club.

Lakshyaraj is currently on a tour in Australia with Nitin Gupta. Nitin is well acclaimed for his contribution to development of Australian football.

It may be noted that Lakshyaraj was recently also awarded a souvenir by Victoria parliament during this visit.
