License of all gardens at Forty feet roads to be cancelled

Eleven cases, which included cancelling of licenses of certain gardens within the city were reviewed and resolved at a District Public Prosecution and Awareness Committee meeting organized at Zila Parishad today.
District Collector, Hemant Gera told all related officials to resolve the complaints registered with the Awareness committee within a decided time frame so that the related people are benefited.
Gera instructed the related officials of Municipal Council (UMC) and Urban Improvement Trust (UIT) to cancel the licenses of all the gardens located at roads of or less than forty feet width. He told the officials to cancel the licenses of these gardens within a month.
In the meeting, M.L.A Gulab Chand Kataria asked to give special attention to the encroachment by people at Lake Construction areas and to act effectively on the encroachments at Lake Prohibited Areas.
In a registered complaint of Namdev Colony at Sunderwas to remove high tension lines and provide household electricity connection, the District Collector instructed to think about the problems of people sympathetically and resolve the problems so as to benefit them.
In the same meeting, the construction of classrooms under Public Participation Scheme was resolved by deciding to invite tenders for it.
On this occasion Gulabchand Katariya, M.L.A; Hariprasad Sharma, District Police Superintendent; Abrar Ahmed, Chief Official of Zila Parishad; Mohammad Yasin Pathan, Additional District Collector and other related officials were present.
