Maharana Pratap Airport Udaipur achieved 4^th rank among airports across India. Award was given by Airport Authority of India (AAI) in a ceremony recently held at New Delhi.

According to Ashutosh Pednekar, District Collector, Udaipur, there were 23 parameters on which various Airports across India were evaluated, among those, Maharana Pratap Airport was given 4^th rank.

Pednekar said that, it is one of the biggest awards for any Airport, while for Udaipur it is very prestigious as city has already been declared number one city of the world.

Pednekar further added that, to support this prestigious award, district administration has also planned a beautification of airport, where a Vintage airplane would be parked outside Airport building. Apart from this, a garden with colorful flowers will be developed.
