In letter to District Collector, Mayor Rajni Dangi has requested that the sculptures that we being planned to be placed around the lake should be relocated to other parts as installing the sculptures there will impact the beauty of the lakes.

This letter seems to be in complete contradiction of the statement made by the Mayor earlier during the closing ceremony of the International Symposium on sculptures wherein she had mentioned that, these sculptures will add to the beauty of the city and will be like a gem.

It may be noted that the 1st International Symposium was organised under the presidency of District Collector, with a sole motto of enhancing beauty of Lake City.

If sources are to be believed then installation of these sculptures will be taken care of by well-known designer Nimish Patel and Parul Javeri, who are also responsible for designing Udai Villas Hotel and Celebration Mall in Udaipur.
