Well known miniature sculptor from Udaipur, Chandra Prakash Chittora made a miniature crafting of Vande Mataram using rice. A total of 151 rice granules were used for making the miniature version.
The 151 granules were arranged in a shape to spell out Vande Mataram. The grains were painted in the colours of national flag and a miniature version of national flag was also perched atop Vande Mataram.
Chittora mentioned that he wanted to give the message of patriotism via the miniature. He also showcased the miniature today on the day when Udaipur got together to render a collective Vande Mataram on Fateh Sagar Paal.
The miniaturised version is so small that the entire set is smaller than a palm.
