Continuing his journey of getting awarded, Professor Surendra Kataria from the Department of Civil Administration; Mohanlal Sukhadia University will receive the Pandit Govind Vallabh Pant Award.

The award would be given by Home Ministry, Government of India for his book on reformation in Police Department in India (“Bharat mein Police Sudhar: Pravartiyan aur Chunotiyan”).

He will receive a cash prize of Rs. 30,000 with a certificate for the same.

Kataria, the newly appointed professor in the Department of Civil Administration, MLSU has also received the same prize in year 2002 and 2006. Other than this, he has been awarded with 16 prestigious recognitions like Kautiliya Puruskar from Planning Commission, Platinum Jubilee Award from Organization of Civil Services, Maulik Lekhan Puruskar by Ministry of Finance etc.
