MLSU to install Railway Reservation Counter in City

In order to discharge social responsibilities of the organization towards society, Mohan Lal Sukhadia University has taken important decisions in a meeting held recently.
Out of the many topics discussed in the meeting, MLSU is going to introduce four major features in favor of the students, which will also prove to be beneficial to the teachers, employees of the University and also to the citizens of the city.
Facility of Railway Reservation:
Permission has been granted for the setting up of a Railway Reservation Centre in the Cooperative Building, located at the Durga Nursery Road. The reservation counter is expected to start soon; authorities will send the approval letter regarding the proposed railway counter by today itself to the Secretariat, Jaipur. This facility will also benefit the residents of nearby localities, like Ashok Nagar, Bhupalpura, Ayad, Shashtri Circle, University Road, etc, along with the students.
University has abolished the Continuous Evaluation System, which has proved to be a matter of great relief for the students. Students were not happy with the evaluation system. Whereas, University administration says that due to the scarcity of faculty and administrative manpower the system was creating a lot of problems in results, hence we stopped it.
PhD. scholars of the University will be provided scholarships from now onward. Scholars from the departments of Psychology, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Geography, Public Administration, Library Science, Population Studies and Commerce will be awarded scholarships by the Indian Council of Social Research and Studies. All the ground work has been done for this initiative; students will now be encouraged to take up higher studies.
The Academic Council of the University decided that every month an evaluation report of three departments of the University will be produced. The report will be presented in front of all the Deans, HoDs and University administrative officials. This initiative will assist University departments in improving their standards, meanwhile, the departmental issues will also be discussed which will improve the overall quality of education.
