The Sikh Community of Udaipur carried out a religious procession of ‘Nagar Keertan’ today. The program was a part of ‘Prakash Parv’, a series of events for the celebration of Guru Govind Singh Jayanti, falling on 7^th Jan.

Thousands of community members gathered in the procession which started from Singh Sabha Gurudwara, Shastri Circle and concluded at Gurudas Sachh Khand Darbar, Sikh Colony.

The procession which started in the afternoon, passed through Shastri Circle, Court Circle, Chetak, Hathipol, Delhigate, Bapu Bazar, Surajpol and concluded at Sikh Colony at 6:30 PM.

The Nagar Keertan was led by Pannj Pyare, while ‘Khalsa’ a group from Amritsar performed Martial Arts (gatka) in the procession.

A langar was also scheduled after the conclusion of the procession.
