Nahar-Surana Group commits over Rs. 1 Crore to support India’s battle against COVID-19
In addition to the above commitment by Nahar-Surana Group, employees of the group are also making personal voluntary contributions

Udaipur based Nahar-Surana Group has pledged a sum in excess of Rs 1 Crore to India's fight against COVID-19. Nahar - Surana Group consists of Nahar Colours and Coating, Orient Glazes and Cuarzo, and together they have contributed a significant portion to the PM-CARES Fund as well as to the local administration. A part of the amount is being used to distribute food items to needy in different parts of the country with the help of the local community.
Apart from the financial support given by the Nahar-Surana group, the employees of the various companies under the group have also contributed part of their salaries towards this cause. They are also individually and voluntarily making contributions through various platforms set up by the Government.
"These are extremely challenging times as the world fights its biggest healthcare crisis of the modern era, COVID-19 epidemic. As a nation our immediate priority is to collectively support the efforts of the Government to mitigate the impace of the crisis. The Nahar-Surana group pledges its support to the nation and we are thankful to our employees for their noble gesture thowards this cause " - Rajkumar Surana, Group MD and Co-Founder, Nahar-Surana Group.
Surana also commended and appreciated the efforts put in by healthcare professionals, administration and police in ensuring that healthcare, law and order is in place to support the community in the cities fight against COVID-19.
The fight against COVID-19 is on across India, and people at all ends are putting in their support in whatever way they can. The healthcare professionals are doing their job in treating those that have fallen prey to this disease, the administration and police are managing the lockdown and ensuring compliance while at the same time helping those in need. Signicant contributions coming in from corporate, individuals and societies across Udaipur are helping relief work in a big way and more contributions are flowing in to ensure that the needy are taken care of through supply of food on a daily basis, medical support and ration.
