Rs 51 Lakh contrubuted to PM-CARES initiative
Allotment of commited fund to local administrative bodies
Significant portion of the total commitment has been spread across local communities in their mission to provide relief to the needy
Udaipur based Nahar-Surana Group has pledged a sum in excess of Rs 1 Crore to India's fight against COVID-19. Nahar - Surana Group consists of Nahar Colours and Coating, Orient Glazes and Cuarzo, and together they have contributed a significant portion to the PM-CARES Fund as well as to the local administration. A part of the amount is being used to distribute food items to needy in different parts of the country with the help of the local community.
Apart from the financial support given by the Nahar-Surana group, the employees of the various companies under the group have also contributed part of their salaries towards this cause. They are also individually and voluntarily making contributions through various platforms set up by the Government.
Surana also commended and appreciated the efforts put in by healthcare professionals, administration and police in ensuring that healthcare, law and order is in place to support the community in the cities fight against COVID-19.
The fight against COVID-19 is on across India, and people at all ends are putting in their support in whatever way they can. The healthcare professionals are doing their job in treating those that have fallen prey to this disease, the administration and police are managing the lockdown and ensuring compliance while at the same time helping those in need. Signicant contributions coming in from corporate, individuals and societies across Udaipur are helping relief work in a big way and more contributions are flowing in to ensure that the needy are taken care of through supply of food on a daily basis, medical support and ration.
